GARUDA GARVABHANGAM

One day Lord Vishnu tells Garuda to go for and accompany Hanuman back, who was meditating on a mountain.

Garuda Joyed by the order of Vishnu to accompany Hanuman back as Garuda was delighted on having the opportunity to have all the stories which we heard about hanuman coming to reality as we as going to meet Hanuman, as hanuman is the GREATEST DEVOTEE of LORD RAMA

Garuda fly’s without delay to the Mountain where Hanuman was chanting the Lord’s Name while meditating .Garuda went and stood behind him, and made small sounds and then leisurely touched Hanuman with his wings. Hanuman without any movement stood still as if nothing was touching him. Garuda touched Hanuman again and there was no acknowledgment from Hanuman 

Garuda starts getting frustrated by the annoyance of hanuman and touches him again bit harder this time. Hanuman remains rock solid in his mediation.  On the other hand Garuda gets himself hurt by touching Hanuman Harder and using force against the mighty Hanuman.

Garuda being self righteous and proud of being king of all Birds and the fastest to fly to places than anyone else Infuriated by Hanuman’s in- responsiveness, Garuda Gathers his energy and Lashes hard on still lying Hanuman.

Garuda before he knows what had happened to him was thrown away far back and his wings badly hurt with pain. This made Garuda more angrier, with all his might he jumps again over Hanuman. and Garuda was thrown away far off like a speck of dust.

With the mighty force of Hanuman hitting garunda hard, Garuda ended up hurting himself both physically and mentally were his ego was hurt, and decided to return back to Lord Vishnu

Post reaching lord Vishnu narrates him the sequence of incidents that took place, lord Vishnu with smile, advises garuda to be polite this time and asks him to go back to hanuman yet another time and asks him to inform hanuman on Lord Rama wanting to see him.

Obeying to the Lords instructions Garuda Re-traced his path to Hanuman without   his sense of self and not being proud of his unmatched strength. Garuda standing before hanuman with folded hands, tell hanuman that Lord Rama and Sita wanted to see him, the minute Hanuman Listens to the names of Rama and Sita wakes up from the meditation and jumps to Garuda asking him to whereabouts of Lord Rama and Sita.

Garuda Replies to Hanuman that Lord Rama and Sita Devi were in Vaikuntam waiting for Hanuman and he would transmit Hanuman on his back. As he was the king of birds and was the only one who can carry Hanuman to Vaikuntam .and Hanuman will not be able to make his way to Vaikuntam. But Hanuman instructs Garuda to go ahead and he would reach Vaikuntam all by himself.

Garuda without  reacting to Hanuman , left and goes on his way to vaikuntam as soon as his wings could take him  at the gate of  Vaikuntam Garuda instructs gate keepers to allow Hanuman inside  without confronting him. To Garuda’s Surprise ,the Guards informs him the Hanumanji was already there in vaikuntam and  were instructed to arrange for his refreshment as would reach tired .
.
Garuda by now learnt that there are many people  stronger than he was and cover distance faster than the king of all birds. Garuda with all his Ego cracked up  melted and dissolved  and learnt the lesson of not being self righteous and proud . offered his salutations to the Lord Vishnu and Hanumanji.and descended to his place.

There was a discussion in the Rama’s Royal Palace in Presence of all the great Sages. That the Lord Rama’s Name is more powerful or Rama Himself, but the discussion ended inconclusively, Hence Maharshi Narada Decided to prove what he thought was right and Chose ignorant Hanuman to stage the Drama.

While the meeting was ending, Narada went to Hanuman and asked him not to offer his Salutations to Sage Vishwamitra as he was a king before he was took to being sage and did not deserve Hanuman’s offering of Salutations. Hanuman agreeing to the Narada’s advice, offered his leaving Salutations to all the Sages expect the Sage Vishwamitra.

Angered by Hanuman’s disrespect, Vishwamitra ordered Lord Rama to announce Death Penalty to Hanuman, and Lord Rama had to obey his Guru Vishwamitra and pronounced Death penalty to Hanuman.

Hanuman’s death penalty was to be executed at the banks of River Sarayu, in presence of public and all the greatest sages including Sage Vishwamitra.

Hanuman Stood on the banks of the river, chanting the name of his Lord Rama, Rama in-turn was shooting his all Powerful Arrows without success , and Rama Decided to use the Unstoppable Bramhastra, that would definitely take Hanuman’s Life.

Maharshi Narada was watching this and decided to open his drama to Vishwamitra and stop Rama from using Bramhastra .Vishwamitra and all the sages and public agreed to Narada’s Point of Rama’s name (The RAAM NAAM) was indeed more powerful than Lord Rama Himself.

This Reference from the Hindu mythology drives home the moral of god’s name  (RAAM NAAM) believed and chanted with true heart is more powerful than Lord Ram (RAAM BAAN) Himself.

While the Pandavas were in exile .Wandering in the Forests of Narayansharma, Adventures and amazing Experiences were a common place to happen.  

One Such day while they were resting in the forest under the shades of a tree by the lake, a beautiful flower fell before Draupadi, the beautiful Wife of Pandavas.  Amazed by the Flowers Fragrance and glowing colors, Draupadi asks Bheema to get many such flowers.

Bheema obliged to the request made by his wife began in search of the beautiful flowers, Bheema Wandered through Trees and Mountains following the Fragrance trail of the Flowers, while he was Searching for the flowers, he saw a Old Monkey resting along the path with its tail across the path blocking Bheema’s trail of flowers Fragrance., to his surprise the monkey didn’t even try to move as bheema was trying to pass through 

To the Amazement of Bheema monkey was talking and warning him that the path he was following was not safe to go ahead .Bheema replied to monkey that it was his problem of being safe and demands monkey to remove its tail in his path, The Monkey replied that it was too old to move the tail on its own and requested Bheema to make his own way by removing the Monkeys tail by himself.

Frustrated with the futile talk, broad-shouldered Bheema tried tugging away the tail, but to his surprise Bheema Couldn’t even move it by an inch.  With all his substantial strength, he was unable to move the monkey’s tail, embarrassed and mortified, Bheema Standing a side asked the monkey who the Old monkey in reality was.

All the while Bheema was asking the monkey for its original identity, the monkey smiled quietly and declared that the monkey in reality was bheema’s brother the Hanuman. The Monkey then altered himself to his righteous & Mighty form stood huge over the Hills, immaculately shining with magnificence.

The brothers hugged each other in happiness. Hanuman pledged to fight along with Pandavas  in their battle against kauravas.  

Hanuman Guided Bheema to the Flowers, for which he started from the forest. Bheema after Collecting as many flowers he could gather Ventured back to his wife and brothers.

This Rendezvous was an unusual occurrence for Bheema. He met his brother Hanuman for the first time & also learnt a lesson and moral of not to be self-righteous on one’s strengths and under estimate others just by external appearance.

Sri Prasanna Veera Anjaneya Temple!

The Statue was inaugurated on 4th Day of November, 2010 by Hon’ble Chief Minister Himachal Pradesh,    Mr. Prem Kumar Dhumal, also joined by Mr. Abhishek Bacchan [Belongs to film fraternity of Bolywood] on Hanuman Jayanti.

History on the Jakhu hills say that, Lord Hanuman took rest while he was sent to bring Sanjeevani herb  to save the life of Lakshmana [brother of LordRama], during the epic Ramayana was taken place, and it is  where the present hanuman temple is located in his memory
